About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading private healthcare facility in Soweto, is seeking a qualified Anaesthetic Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join their theatre team.
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-performing environment where teamwork, accuracy, and patient care are at the core of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the anaesthetist before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients under anaesthesia and during recovery.
• Support emergency and resuscitation procedures within the theatre complex.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
• Contribute to a professional, safe, and supportive theatre environment.

Essential Requirements

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Anaesthetic qualification or relevant experience in an anaesthetic environment.
• RWOPS (Right of Work Outside the Public Service).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a busy surgical setting.
• Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
