About the Role

You will be part of a professional theatre team supporting a range of major and minor day procedures. The role requires a strong understanding of anaesthetic practices, patient monitoring, and strict adherence to clinical protocols within a day surgery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist anaesthetists during surgical procedures
• Prepare, check, and maintain anaesthetic equipment and medication
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and clinical standards
• Support efficient theatre operations within a day hospital setting

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid SANC registration
• Proven experience in anaesthetics within a theatre environment
• Strong knowledge of anaesthetic procedures and patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
