About the Role

This position focuses on managing financial operations within a primary healthcare environment that prioritises an integrated approach to patient care. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and governance requirements
• Oversee patient services finance including billing, debtors, and reimbursements
• Monitor cost controls and support operational efficiency
• Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision making
• Support finance processes across the organisation

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Articles advantageous
• Proven experience in a financial accounting role
• Experience within healthcare, medical services, or similar environment advantageous
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel
• Familiarity with Syft Analytics, Draftworx, or Caseware
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
