About the Opportunity

We are recruiting Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners (OHNPs) for placements across Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Port Elizabeth.
You will play a key role in promoting employee health, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, and supporting safe and productive workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct baseline, periodic, and exit medicals in line with OHS legislation.
• Perform medical surveillance, health risk assessments, and workplace evaluations.
• Manage treatment, follow-up, and record-keeping for occupational health cases.
• Provide health education and wellness support to employees.
• Work closely with Occupational Health Medical Practitioners and HR departments.
• Ensure compliance with SANC and Department of Labour regulations.

Essential Requirements

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Post-basic qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (or relevant OH experience).
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current knowledge of OHS, COIDA, and workplace health standards.
